- So many plans...so little time...
- Of all things, I think my medication is interfering with my ability to sneeze.
- James has made up a metal song for Theda sung in the voice of Nathan Explosion from Dethklok. She actually likes it!
- Dammit, the item I wanted to buy for my friend for her baby shower has already been bought. :(
- Ok, maybe not...seems Target's online registry is just flaky as hell.
- Argh! I have a million emails to answer and tons of orders to process and a baby that will not nap. This sucks.
- Have I mentioned how much I dislike dealing with customers from Africa?
- @corwin: Evidently we showed up at the game store about five minutes after you left. :(
- unable to complete work due to lack of ink cartridge. :(
- *ugh* The inconsolable boob monster strikes again...
- @lizzistardust: Now we know why Trader Vic's serves those Mai Tais in short glasses! ;)
- Doc appointment went well. No more kids for me! (for at least five years)
- Poll: Making a Facebook/MySpace page for your baby...stupid or normal?
- @lizzistardust: Yep. Mirena.
- @ariedana: No meds? Bullshit. My OB gave me scrip for 30 Percoset when I left the hospital. Dentists know jack about meds and breastfeeding.
- There are two guys in the driveway using my porch light to fix their car...only one dude is walking around with an axe - not fixing the car.
- OMG, dude with the axe is using it to hammer a part onto the car. Can you say future Darwin Award winner?
- Now I start the race to see if I can complete the day's invoicing before Theda wakes up.
- Dammit! Every time I use the stapler she goes all spazz-baby.
- OMG! What the hell is wrong with you demon child? Go back to sleep!!!
- And I'm not even remotely done invoicing. Argh!
- Theda has slept for maybe all of an hour today. Nothing is working. She's overeaten, puked, been bathed, bounced, shushed, everything.*sigh*
- I've had a headache for hours, and nothing has even slightly worked on it. I think her screaming shoots my blood pressure up, causes them.
- Dear George: You will be fucking missed. Love, A Motherfucking Second-Generation Fan.
- By your example of what not to do, i shall always endeavor to do more than i talk about doing.
- @elmofromok: The new one in the Plaza Court? We drove by there early yesterday evening and it was packed then too. Isn't it a small place?
- @lizzistardust: The herd embraces you... ;)
- @elmofromok: I saw that card game last time I was in the game store; wondered how the game play would go.
- Got a box full of baby clothes from a friend today. I think Theda is set for onesies til she's about a year old!
- @elmofromok: Re: drinking - not much. a glass or two of wine, that's it.
- @elmofromok: Of course I could just cut off the boob monsta for a day and pump and dump I suppose...(if I can get the pump to work for me)
- Wouldn't ya know, the busiest day so far at the office is the day Theda's the most upset and fussy.
- Crap, I've been here at work for an hour and gotten nothing done...argh!
- We have achieved binkie usage!
- Theda = not a happy camper tonight...
- Having dinner out w/ the family to celebrate fathers day.
- As I expected, it's the end of my first week back and I'm now attempting to do my job and take care of Theda at the same time. Impossible.
- James just barely avoided a speeding ticket this afternoon. Thanks to theda he got out of it w/ a warning.
- Four weeks post-pregnancy and while I technically fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans, they are still a teeny bit on the tight side.
- Hopefully a couple more weeks should do it. Then I will start doing some stomach exercises.
- Looks like Theda's on track to weigh in at nine pounds by her first month. :)
- @gienahghurab: Just wait a few more weeks and I can supply you with lots of tomatoes from the family garden. ;)
- @jenthegreat: Yeah, she won't do the pacifier AT ALL.
- It's like today is in slow motion...
- Wow, this whole working while my baby is wailing in the other room is really working well for me...not.
- All the stress of hearing her cry and none of the time to be able to do something about it! Whee!
- @gienahghurab: Yeah, not my idea at all. Mostly it seems to be about the money. Replacement = higher payroll.
- @eagledawg: I work for family, and I'm one of five employees; FMLA doesn't really apply to my "special circumstances".
- Breastmilk = feeding Theda every hour (sometimes more); formula = feed, burp and pass out for at least a couple of hours. I need the quiet.
- Finally. All is quiet, without having to shove a bottle or nipple in her mouth, for the first time in over six hours...*sigh* So. Tired.
- Don't assume that means she's asleep, because she's not. She probably slept a grand total of four hours in the last 48...infant insomnia?
- Wondering if Theda will ever go to sleep and stop crying.
